The moon glistened brightly over the quiet, midnight city of London. A gentle breeze swept over the rooftops, rustling the dark onyx bangs of the young demon as she perched on one of the various shackled roofs throughout the city. She looked down towards the shadowed streets, watching for any signs of movement. London wasn't particularily bustling at night, but the solitude was an enjoyment for her. She sought the soul of a single wandering human being, someone she could make easy prey of.

Her sapphire eyes glistened with anticipation as she caught the sudden flash of movement from a being down below. Upon closer inspection, she saw a young peasant boy, or at least it appeared, running through the dark alleys. His breaths came out in small puffs of white mist through the chilling January air. Her lips raised in a slight grin, a pair of sharpened teeth flashing behind them. Without a sound, she jumped off the rooftop and landed gracefully into the shadows of the streets below. Here, she would be able to hear and watch him more easily. Her ears perked as she heard him speak.

"Sebastian! Hurry up!"

He seemed to be calling out to someone else, whose presence the girl had not detected thus far. Her eyes narrowed in suspicion. She scanned the street from her hiding place in silence.

Who was this second person? Why does that child have to be so demanding towards him?

Unfortunately, the young demon would soon be finding out.

The young boy went to London to investigate a string of murders that had been happening in the area. When they hadn't discovered anything it left the boy in a mood. He called for his butler to take him home and tomorrow they would continue their search. He was unaware that he was being watched...

Sebastian nodded as he led his young master back to his home at the Phantomhive manor. The demon had a feeling that they were being watched by someone, or something, and he kept glancing around the surrounding area, managing not to gain suspiscion from his master.

"Hurry up Sebastian! I am freezing!" Ciel said, shivering. He also had the feeling that someone or something was watching them.

They know I'm here...

The young demon had been following the butler and young boy, who had now been revealed to her as a child of nobility. She now stood under the shadow of a few trees, completely hidden except for the sapphire gleam of her eyes. But curiosity was beginning to take over. She had a short dagger ready in her sleeve. Once both males' backs were turned, she flicked the dagger in the butler's direction, knowing the child wouldn't be as difficult an adversary. The speed at which she threw it exceeded human possibility. As long as her opponents were human, they didn't stand a chance and she could leave with a double meal.

Sebastion sensed the dagger coming in their direction. He simply caught the dagger, holding it between two of his fingers and looking over his shoulder. "We have company, my lord."

H-he isn't human...

She froze in shock as the butler so simply caught her projectile. This was an unexpected turn of events. She could be killed. She shivered and watched the man closely. He would be after her now. She would have to fight at her best. But if he was with this boy.. If they had a contract... He would be much to powerful for a solitary demon like herself to match. Her hand instinctively gripped a blade she had at her waist. Things were about to get bloody...

Hearing his butler, Ciel gave a sigh. The young lord was freezing and wanted to get back to his mansion as soon as possible. "Sebastian... this is an order, take me home... NOW" the young lord commanded, taking off his eyepatch to reveal his Fautasian contract on his right eye.

As Ciel ordered Sebastian to take him home, the girl took advantage of the moment. Drawing out an elegant silver blade, she narrowed her eyes and dashed out behind Ciel, placing her hand on his shoulder. "Bon soir, jeune seigneur~" Her voice rang out delicately in his ear.

Her appearance was striking, heavily abnormal. She was pale, with the beginnings of a demonic sparkle in her eyes. Her pupils were thin and reflected her dangerous nature. She wore what once was a beautiful, black Gothic dress, now ragged and torn from her weeks of solitary life out in the streets of London. Her feet were bare, but her body, feet included, was completely free of injuries, and she had a terribly attractive appearance. Her long black hair was a bit ruffled from her activity, one of the long strands in the front was braided and hanging down beside her bangs while the rest fell down freely to her mid-back. Her hands and dark nails were covered by long, torn sleeves, but Sebastian would easily already know just exactly what she was.

The young demon glared at the butler as he moved her hand. She quickly pulled it away and jumped back a foot or two, her blade swinging back and forth casually with her arm as she smirked. "You English characters have always had such terrible manners~ Don't you know a foreign child of nobility when you see one?" She spoke without an accent this time, her English surprisingly flawless.

Ciel shivered from the voice but once he heard her announce that she was a child of nobility, he eyed the girl curiously but still crossed his arms.

She shifted her gaze to the butler. "So that contract you two share~ Do you keep it a secret?" She grinned deviously. "I've always been curious how all of those meager human citizens would react if they were aware of our existence.."

Ciel gave the girl a dark look when she figured out Sebastian and he were contracted to each other.

Though he would much prefer to fight the young demon for her touching his master, he needed to obey Ciel's orders, not matter what it was. That was part of the contract: be his loyal servant and get his soul in return. He did not answer the female demon's question and led his young master away from her.

A dark figure sat on top of one of the nearby buildings, her eyes shined a dark red and her voice echoed "Demon versus demon eh? This ought to be interesting" She smirked as her tail swayed "Surely it will be bloody"~Yufi Ivory~<3
